If you are going to send in apparatus pictures to be posted under new deliveries, then please follow these simple steps so we can have some conformity amongst the pictures.
1. Please shoot the picture from the drivers side. To include the front, and the drivers side of the apparatus.
2. Make sure the sun is on the side of the truck that you are taking a picture of.
3. Try and not have any other distractions around the truck. Example, take photos of the trucks one at a time. Don't pull all of them out and try and get shots of them individually.
4. It is ok to take shots of trucks at fire calls. Make sure that there is no hose attached to the pump or compartments are open.
5. Please send the photo as you take it. Meaning please do not Correct it in Photoshop or crop it. Send it RAW.
6. Save the photo as a high setting, the file should be large.
If you have photos of an Emergency scene please send the photo unedited and not resized. If you have video of a fire please email me and we can make arrangements for me to get a VHS copy.
Many Digital cameras have a video mode in them. Many of the movies you see are from these cameras. They are not the best, but are worth the few seconds it takes to shoot them.
