Hamlin Salutes Department Fire Chief’s

The Hamlin Fire Department’s annual Inspection Dinner was held on April 28th at the Hilton Fire Exempts. At that dinner, the past Fire Chiefs of the Department were recognized for their service to the community.

Recently, the Hamlin Fire Chiefs have been outfitted with Conway, American Heritage, leather fire helmets. At the dinner on Saturday night, each chief who did not receive such a helmet during their duty, were presented one by the current officers of the Fire Department.

Fifteen Hamlin Fire Chiefs were in attendance at the dinner, representing all the living chiefs of the Hamlin Fire Department, probably making this event truly a unique occurrence, having all chiefs in attendance. 

Past Battalion II Fire Coordinator, Bill Carter, was also recognized by the Hamlin Fire Department at the Inspection Dinner, for his service to the Hamlin Fire Department and to the Second Battalion and Monroe County.
