Gates MVA


Gates Firefighters responded for a serious accident this afternoon on Rt 390 at Scottsville Rd. Command reported a multi vehicle mva with people trapped. Command declared a MCI for at least 20 patients, and there were four people trapped. RFD Quint & Midi 9 and Rescue 11 along with Rescue 1 from the airport responded to the scene to assist with extrication. Numerous other agencies responded to the staging area to assist. Unfortunately one person died.
