Holidays - No matter what holiday or how you celebrate during these next several weeks. please take time to relax and also the time to know that you are appreciated by the Communities in which you serve. While the holidays can be a stressful time, it also can be a time of Great joy and the best way to see that is thru the eyes of a young child.

EPCR - All the Third Battalion agencies are working towards implementation of this electronic data collection system. Please take the time before your agency goes live to practice and to consult with the committee working on this project.
New York State Tax Credit - The State of New York, in a move to encourage Volunteer Emergency Service, as issued a $200 tax Credit, not deduction for ALL Volunteer EMS and Firefighters. This credit is applied to the 2007 NYS Income tax. Please use http://www.tax.state.ny.us/pdf/2007/fillin/inc/it245_2007_fil! l_in.pdf credit.
New Years Resolution(s) - Please include a EMS resolution in your plans for 2008. Plan to join a committee, take a class or become more involved in a variety of ways. The strength of your organization rests in the support that every member gives to the organization, which translates to how good a organizations becomes.
2008 Officers lists - All agencies, that have formulated their officer's by this date, are asked to provide this information by January 6, 2008. Th! is one li number of organizations, such as the EMS/Fire Bureau, STEP and others that need your current information to produce directories or to use in contacting the proper people in your organization.
CSIM - Critical Incident Stress Management team - Monroe County is very fortunate to have a well trained, dedicated group of individuals on call to assist agencies and members, following a difficult call. This confidential service can involve many facets, tailored to the agencies or individuals needs to help. Please remember that the call often does not end when we return to service, as we take the memories home for life.&! nbsp; Rem ce early and often to insure the health of your members and your organization
AED's - Please take the time to review the newest CPR standards and your agencies or your workplace AED operation. A Special Thanks to the State of New York for providing a AED in all 1,400 marked State Police vehicles, as well as many other vehicles and locations. The State is also training all 6,000 of their employees in these valuable life saving skills.
Everyo! ne is inv eros" of November 18th, who as a team saved the life of a local Basketball Official at the Nazareth College. This ceremony will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 in the Nazareth Gym. More details to follow, but please keep the night available to join us.
