Happy Holidays - A Special holiday wish to all Emergency Service Personal
who are celebrating Passover or Easter at this time. For these members and
all our EMS Personal, lets all Celebrate Spring and hope that the warm days
will start soon.
NEW Protocol's - The new protocol's were effective April 1, 2007. There
are numerous classroom opportunities listed at www.mlrems.org to attend a
class to become familiar with these changes. BLS responders can start
using the applicable protocols to your skill level without instruction. If
you do not attend a class, please review the applicable changes that have
been approved. ALS providers are required to attend a classroom session
prior to June 1, 2007 to allow continuance of your practice.
Many of these classes will be held in the Third Battalion, with the first
being sponsored by Perinton Ambulance, on Monday, April 9, 2007. This
class will be hosted at the Fairport Fire Station #1, 27 East Church
Street, due to the current EMT class that is being held at Perinton at the
same time.
Please plan to attend one of these informative sessions to learn the newest
protocol's to provide best patient care.
