Carton Road Structure

August 26, 2008 – Approximately 10:00 PM

Kendall firefighters were working on equipping and training on their new E-One Rescue Engine when a call came in for a structure fire on the Carton Road. The Company responded with one engine, one tanker, one rescue and the new rig as a second rescue unit. Morton responded with one engine and one rescue and Holly responded with one engine as the preplanned mutual assistance companies. Hulberton was also requested for one tanker for additional water supply support.

The fire was in a small, vacant stone house and was quickly extinguished with heavy interior damage.
