High Rise Drill

On Saturday July 24th, The Brockport Fire Department conducted a High Rise drill at the 10 story Perry Hall at the SUNY Brockport campus. Evolutions including Standpipe operations and Search & Rescue were conducted on the respective 6th, 8th and 9th floors of the structure. Departments from Spencerport, Walker, Clarendon, Churchville, Morton and Hilton participated in the evolutions moving from floor to floor. Ambulances from Brockport, Hilton and Clarendon set up rehab in front of Briggs Hall opposite of Perry Hall. Past Chief Vaughan instructed trainees on FD Connections, and later in the training water was flowed from the upper floor out the window.
