2-2-2 Extra Alarm Fire

Rochester Firefighters responded this afternoon for the report of a fire at the laundromat on Lake Ave. Engine 5 was on location with smoke from a two story with a one story attached. Rescue 11 went on location and requested an extra company to respond which was Truck 10. Command ordered everybody out of the structure for a defensive attack. A second alarm was struck which brought Engine 13 and 17. Quint & Midi 6 responded as the RIC and Engine 8 was special called to assist. The fire took over an hour to bring under control and the cause is under investigation.
