Muliple Alarm Fire

Rochester Firefighters responded this afternoon for the report of a fire with the person who set the fire still in the store at the Family Dollar on North Goodman St. Quint 7 went on location with a fire in a display. About 30 minutes later, Rochester Firefighters responded for the report of a fire in the Family Dollar store on North Clinton Ave. Engine 16 went on location with nothing showing, but Quint 6 further reported smoke showing. Quint 6 called for a second alarm which brought Engine 17, 13 and Truck 4. Command pulled all members out of the structure and called for a third alarm which brought  Engine 3,5 and Quint & Midi 1. Car 1 reported heavy fire in a one story strip plaza and requested a fourth alarm plus two platforms. Engine 8,1 along with Truck 2, Brighton 300 and St Paul 150 responded. Numerous other county fire departments responded to the scene and to fill in at empty fire stations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
