Emergency Landing

At 17:58 Tonight Brockport Fire & EMS was originally dispatched for the Piper Cherokee down, on fire with one soul on board. Ambulance 2319, Engines 234 & 232 were quickly enroute. AT 18:05 2C23 was on location with a visual of a plane in the field. AT 18:08, it was determined that the plane did not crash but was forced to make an emergency landing in the field opposite 423 West Sweden Road. The pilot reported he had smoke in the cabin. He had taken off from Genesee County. At 18:14, all equipment except Engine 234 was placed in service.  Engine 234 went in service at 18:23. The FAA was responding to investigate.
